Occupancy report
Understand your property occupancy trends across date ranges, room types, and segments.
What the occupancy report shows
The occupancy report gives you a detailed breakdown of how well your rooms are being sold over any date range. Key metrics include:
- Occupancy % — Rooms sold as a percentage of total available rooms.
- Rooms sold — Total room nights sold in the period.
- Rooms available — Total room nights available (accounting for closed rooms and maintenance blocks).
- Rooms remaining — Unsold room nights.
Running the report
- Go to Reports → Occupancy.
- Set your date range using the date picker.
- Filter by room type if you want to see performance for a specific category.
- Toggle between Daily, Weekly, and Monthly views using the tabs.
- Click Export to download the data as CSV or PDF.
Year-on-year comparison
Enable the Compare to prior year toggle to overlay the same period from 12 months ago. This is the fastest way to spot whether performance is improving or declining.
💡 Tip
A healthy occupancy target varies by property type and location — but as a general benchmark, aim for 70–80% occupancy at rates that deliver your target RevPAR, rather than chasing 100% occupancy at discounted rates.
